Who we are: Silversun Studios Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our free-to-play casual mobile games and related services (the “Apps”). It also covers our website at silversunstudios.com (the “Site”). Some features may vary by title; we’ll update this Policy as we ship new games.

Plain-English summary: We don’t create player accounts and we don’t ask you to give us lots of personal details. Our Apps use third-party SDKs to show ads, process in-app purchases, gather crash/diagnostic data, and—if enabled—to measure gameplay for balancing and quality. In regions where the law requires it, we’ll ask for your consent (e.g., for personalized ads/analytics via a consent prompt).

1) Children

Our Apps are designed for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, typically 13–16 in the EEA). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact hello@silversunstudios.com and we’ll take appropriate steps to delete it.

2) Information we process

We do not require you to create an account to play. Depending on the title, device, platform and the choices you make in the consent prompt, we may process:

  • Advertising & device identifiers: Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID (GAID), device model, OS version, language, IP address (used to derive coarse location), app version, country/region, and in-app ad interactions (e.g., views, clicks, frequency capping, reward delivery).
  • Purchases: product identifiers, timestamps, price/currency, country, purchase receipts/tokens, and fraud-prevention signals. We do not receive your full payment details.
  • Diagnostics & performance: crash logs, error reports, loading performance, and battery/network status signals.
  • Gameplay/usage events (optional analytics): level starts/completions, session length, basic progression and economy events, and A/B test variants. These analytics features may be enabled or disabled in specific titles.
  • Support communications: the email address you use to contact us and the contents of your message.

We do not collect precise GPS location, microphone recordings, contacts, SMS, or photos/videos unless a specific feature clearly asks you and you choose to use it.

3) Why we use your information (purposes & legal bases)

  • Performance of a contract – to provide the App you installed, deliver non-personalized ads/rewards you opt to watch, and process in-app purchases.
  • Legitimate interests – to keep the Apps secure, prevent fraud/abuse, measure aggregated performance, and improve gameplay (balanced against your rights).
  • Consent – where required for personalized ads and/or analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time in the App’s consent settings.
  • Legal obligations – to comply with tax/accounting, consumer protection, and platform rules.

4) Ads, analytics & partners

We use third-party SDKs as processors and independent controllers (depending on the feature). Core partners include:

  • Advertising: Google AdMob (ads mediation, ad delivery, fraud prevention). Personalized ads only with your consent where required; otherwise you may receive contextual or non-personalized ads.
  • Consent: Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect/manage EEA/UK consent and to honor Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency (ATT) on iOS.
  • Purchases: Apple StoreKit (iOS) and Google Play Billing (Android) to process in-app purchases.
  • Analytics (optional): Google Analytics for Firebase (if enabled per title) for aggregated gameplay metrics.
  • Crash/Diagnostics: Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and stability insights.

We will list any additional SDKs in the App’s store listing and in the in-app privacy section. Partners may process data in the United States and other countries—see §6 for transfers.

5) Sharing your information

We share information only as needed to operate and protect the Apps:

  • Service providers & SDK partners that deliver ads, purchases, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud hosting.
  • Platform operators (Apple, Google) to operate the stores, enforce policies, and process purchases/refunds.
  • Legal/safety – if required by law, to protect our rights or users, or to investigate fraud/abuse.
  • Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell player contact details. Advertising partners may receive identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads; you can opt out of personalized ads (see §7 and §10).

6) International transfers

We are based in the United Kingdom. When partners process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g., in the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA) or adequacy decisions. We also conduct transfer risk assessments where required.

7) Your choices & controls

  • Consent settings (in-app): In EEA/UK and other regions that require it, you’ll see a consent prompt when you first launch an App. You can change your choices at any time via the App’s privacy/consent settings (e.g., toggle personalized ads, analytics).
  • Device advertising choices: iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads.
  • Ad preferences: You can also use Google’s Ads settings and your device’s ad controls for broader preferences.

Note: If you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they should be less tailored.

8) Data retention

  • Ad/analytics event data: kept by us in aggregate form; raw event logs, where used, are generally retained by our providers for up to 13 months unless needed longer for security, fraud, or legal reasons.
  • Crash/diagnostic data: typically 90–180 days.
  • Purchase records: retained for up to 6 years to meet accounting/tax obligations.
  • Support emails: retained for up to 24 months from last contact, unless you request deletion sooner.

9) Your rights

UK/EEA users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing already performed). To exercise your rights, email hello@silversunstudios.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the UK, that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have rights to know/access, correct, delete, and to opt out of “sale”/“sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell player contact information. You can opt out of “sharing” by disabling personalized ads in the in-app consent settings and your device ad settings, or by emailing us.

10) Cookies and similar technologies

Our Apps don’t use traditional cookies, but SDK partners use similar technologies (mobile ad IDs, local storage, device signals) for the purposes described above. On the Site, we may use cookies for basic functionality and, if enabled, analytics. You can control web cookies via your browser settings.

11) Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and minimization. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

12) EU/UK representatives & DPO

  • Data Protection Officer: Not required for our current activities; no DPO appointed.
  • EU representative: If we do not establish an EU office and continue offering Apps to EEA users, we may appoint an EU representative.

13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as we ship new features or as laws change. We’ll post the new version in-app and on our Site and update the “Effective date.”

Appendix B – Quick summary for store disclosures

  • Data collected: device/advertising IDs, coarse location (from IP), app interactions, purchase history, diagnostics, crash logs, support email (if you contact us).
  • Purposes: app functionality, ads, payments, analytics (optional), fraud prevention.
  • Data linked to you: typically not directly linked to a real-world identity; SDKs may link events to your device/advertising ID.
  • Data used for tracking (iOS): advertising identifier when consented under ATT.
  • User control: in-app consent settings; OS ad settings; email requests.
